Who am I voting for???

OK. the Texas Promaries are coming up next week and still have NO idea of who I am voting for. I was thinking of just giving up my vote (I mean...not vote at all), but then this is the first time I vote and I think that my vote "might" make a difference.

Read this before continuing: I am not writing this to support or ignore any political party or candidate. Also, these are MY points of view and I do not expect anyone to agree with me. So, if you think you might be offended by this post...STOP reading now.......

Ok, I went to the web pages of the four major candidates and looked at the issues they would support and be against. I know that what they all write is just Mumbo Jumbo (senseless) and that they might not even do a thing they have promised when they get elected. Ok, my mind is split in between two candates right now......Clinton and Huckabee. Yes, I know.....two opposite parties...but who cares! I like the plans Clinton has in mind and the fact that Bill will be back in the White House ;-) but I strongly disagree with the universal health plan.......I watched Sicko (Michel Moore's film) and found out many things that she was trying to do were just plain wrong. Now, for Huckabee........I love his name....is funny....lol.......I support all his views on healthcare, education, and immigration, but the thing that makes me wonder is......his views on Roe vs. Wade........I know this case is not going to affect the nation in a huge way, but I still disagree with him.  Obama is just not my type........and McCain is just plain crazy. I know I am not making the best choice in narrowing down the candidates, but this is where I am standing right now. I guess I still have a lot of research to do (watch the debates on youtube....lol) and then make up my mind. All I know now is that if Bush was running for president again....I would vote for him because these new candidates just plain suck (I am not trying to insult anyone!). Well, wish me lots of luck so that I can make up my mind.

Good luck to you in your decision making. The only thing is to just go by what your concience tells you to do. Here's were pooh hits the fan, I'd vote for Bush again too. Not much to chose from now.

O.K.

First and foremost, did you change your major?

Second, I don't like any of the candidates. I'll vote democratic this election. I allways voted republican, but I'm scared of the party after Bush.

Third, how did you customize your blog so incredibly wonderful, beautifully?

Thanks for writing back.

Your blog is awesome. I guess changing majors this far along the game can be tough. Why did you consider it?

I finally became a chemist. I am certified to use labs in the state of Florida unsupervised. I turned in three research proposels and two were accepted. On March 26th. I'll be doing a presentation on my focas of interest. Solid Phase Cap and Tag Ogliosaccharide Synthesis.

The university has given me two labs to use! Mass spec, nmr, G.C.,IR, X-ray, you name it.

The thing about chemistry is that you probably had orgo I, II. Maybe some Biochem.

Unfortunately there is a lot that is archaic, obsolete. I believe that, for instance, IR and NMR should not be taught in orgo II. Those should be reserved for Structure Determination and Instrumental Analysis.

Biology, having fun with ATP/ADP +Pi, NADH NADPH, etc? Reducing and aldose sugars? Metabolism. etc? Citric acid cycle, etc. The

The way I learned Biochem. was that I took a Bio-organic course before taking biochem, so all the missing parts fed right in.

Just practice drawing out the cartoons (Rxn. mechanisms) until they become like second nature.

If you had to take Physical Chemistry with calculus, I strongly urge you to take CalcIII and Differential equations before even attempting to sit in a p-chem class.
